January 7, 2016 by Joni Albrecht

The John Marshall Foundation hosted two teacher-training seminars at The John Marshall House in October, one aimed at elementary school teachers and another at middle- and high-school instructors. Director of Education Barbara Schneider and Cheryl Ragsdale, Chair of the Education Committee, organized the event. Bobbie LeViness, Site Coordinator, The John Marshall House, presented the workshop designed around historic events in Marshall’s life and their connection to the different rooms in the house. Since 2011, 690 teachers have attended JMF professional development workshops, impacting more than 58,500 students.
